Henri Hein

    Henri Hein was born in 1965 in a small village in Denmark, Europe. He grew up in Copenhagen. After high school, he spent 9 months in the Danish military. During college, he spent 6 months in Israel, staying in a small kibbutz for 3 of those months. In 1989, he graduated from University of Copenhagen with a B.Sc. degree in computer science. He then went to work for Microsoft in Dublin, Ireland. After 8 months there, he went on to work for Microsoft at the headquarters in Redmond. He worked there for 5 years, then took a year off travelling in North America. In summer of 1996, he went back to Denmark. He currently works for Catalog International - a Danish company - where he builds software and components for Internet development He was recently transferred to the Sillicon Valley area.

    Henri likes his job and spends a lot of his time with computers, whether working or not. His other passion is the outdoors, and he grabs any opportunity to go hiking, climbing, backpacking or snowshoeing. He has climbed in 8 states, as well as in Canada, Equador, Norway, Sweden, France, Catalonia (Spain) and Pakistan.
