Shana Mauer is a Canadian writer living in Jerusalem. She recently completed her MA in English Literature at Hebrew University and now works as an editor. Having written her thesis on fairy tales and their twentieth century evolution, she can tell you anything you want to know about the Grimm Brothers, Hans Christian Anderson, and Uncle Walt (who is not entombed in the bowels of Tomorrow Land). Other areas of interest are American-Jewish and Victorian literature.
