What do you think of Christ? Jesus asked that question of His disciples. Many still ask that question in their search for truth and meaning.

Josh McDowell, like many others professing atheism or claiming agnosticism, considered Christ either a good man or wise prophet. He never considered that Jesus is God. Until he logically studied the claims Jesus made about himself and concluded he was either 1) a great liar, 2) a lunatic with a death wish, or 3) truly the Son of God. If Christ were truly one of the first two options, then no longer could he be considered a great teacher or a good man. The fact that what Jesus said in His lifetime has affected world history hardly makes him a lunatic.

McDowell takes the same tact in examining the resurrection. If the resurrection did not happen, and the disciples had known it didn't happen, then they were certainly utter fools for dying for their belief.

McDowell presents good, sound logic to his book as it examines the life of Jesus of Nazareth and concludes he is More Than a Carpenter.

This book is excellent if you yourself have doubts or know someone who has doubts but you're not sure what to say.
