This small book is written in a comic book format. It illustrates the life of Amelia Earhart, once one of America's most famous aviators. She flew across the Atlantic shortly after Lindbergh did (the book details her role in that flight) and was know as "Lady Lindy." That flight was sponsored by publisher G. P. Putnam, who would soon become Earhart's husband. The book ends at the parade held in New York after Earhart's second flight across the Atlantic. It doesn't relate much about her final flight or how she may have disappeared. But it does give an good look at the lady aviator and her dreams of flying and her fight for women's rights.
