This book contains a thorough listing of the weather-related natural disasters in history. Also included are locales of greatest event frequency. The criteria used to "scale" a natural disaster are also listed. Appendices list names of typhoons and hurricanes, a hurricane tracking map from NOAA, a chronology of events, and hurricane safety procedures.

This book is very thorough. For the "storm hunter" it is a solid volume of information.
